Sudeshna Raha
Sudeshna Raha is an advisory member to Bay Area Prabasi and involved in shaping Prabasi’s agenda in the key areas of community development, philanthropy and cultural impact. Her professional experience ranges from being a Principal at Booz Allen Hamilton (Management Consulting firm), to General Manager of Wells Fargo’s Commercial Banking Portal, and currently Product Marketing at Apple.
Sudeshna has always valued community development, philanthropy, education and cultural enrichment and contributes her time on two Boards – Partners in Education (Palo Alto’s educational foundation) and BAAT (Bay Area Amateur Thespians). For PiE, Sudeshna oversees fundraising and volunteer participation from the various elementary schools in Palo Alto and as part of BAAT she directs and acts in Bengali plays.
Sudeshna has a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, a Post Graduate Degree in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and a MBA from the McCombs School of Business, UT Austin. She lives with her husband and two children in Palo Alto and enjoys international travel, food, hiking, and backpacking in the beautiful California outdoors.
