Tirthankar Lahiri
Tirthankar is Senior Vice President of Data and In-Memory Technologies at Oracle Tirthankar has 26 years of experience in the database industry and has worked on 46 issued and several pending patents as well as a number of academic conference and journal publications. He has a B.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (Kharagpur) and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He spent a few years in the PhD program at Stanford before Oracle preempted his Doctoral aspirations with the excitement of solving real-world problems. Tirthankar is interested in philanthropy, high-performance driving events, wine, science fiction and beach-bumming.
