The upcoming fashion show of Bay Area Prabasi with collaboration of Bollywood fashion designer Subarna Roy Chaudhuri promises to be a dazzling spectacle where the world of craftsmanship of Indian fabrics infuses the sophistication of European tailoring and aesthetics. Renowned designer Subarna Ray Chaudhuri from Bollywood is set to unveil her spring-summer collections, offering a glimpse into the future of fashion. Attendees anticipate a sensory feast of professional models walking with our known faces of Bay Area in an outdoor style presentation with professional lights, a ramp, and a sitting area with LED display and projectors.
We are reaching a new level in every stream of Bay Area Prabasi in our 50th celebration. Our Bay Area audience and beyond will be delighted with such a versatile program. This event will take place during prime time, starting at 6.30 pm on Saturday before our other SOLD-OUT event, “Shaan Se”.
Subarna Ray Chaudhuri is a noted Indian Costume and Fashion designer in Bollywood for past 22 years. She started her career with the British, German and American films and documentaries. She did her first stint in Bollywood with film Parineeta in 2005 and won IIFA in 2006 for her work. She also bagged APSARA GUILD and ZEE CINE Award for her contribution in Indian Cinema.
Eklavya , Lage Raho Munnabhai, Laaga Chunri Mein Daag, Rann ,Bajrangi Bhaijan, Phantom, Kick , Houseful 3, Gunday , Ghanchakkar, Lootera , Dishoom and Parmanu, are some of the top films in which she has done costume designing for the Bollywood stars including Amitabh Bachchan ,Saif Ali Khan , John Abrahim, Varun Dhawan, Nawazuddin, Sharmila Tagore, Vidya balan, Jacqueline, Hema Malini, Dharmendra, Rishi Kapoor, Akshay Khanna, Jackie shroff , Baman Irani, Anupam kher , Sanjay Dutt, Randeep Hooda, Ritesh Deshmukh , Deepti Naval Parish Rawal, dimple Kapadia and many more A listers .
