Covid-19 Safety Protocols

Food

There is no outside food or, drink allowed except for special cases (e.g. baby food, prescribed food/diet, etc.). Bay Area Prabasi is going to be serving lunch, dinner, and snacks to the members and their guests based on the details communicated to the members during signup. NO outside food vendor is permitted in the facility to sell the foods. If you are NOT a Bay Area Prabasi member or, guest of a member – if we highly recommend that you MUST plan your visit and prepare to explore local restaurants and food options close to the venue.

We are monitoring the COVID situation closely on a weekly basis. If the situation continues to deteriorate, we may end up making the event MEMBER-ONLY to restrict the number of attendees in the venue. Members’ health and safety are always our top priority. We will be communicating this further through our emails and social media posts so that. 

Safety Rules

Furthermore, we will be enforcing the following rules as part of the safety measures –

  • BAY AREA PRABASI will be serving lunch. dinner and snacks to the members and their guests. The food will be packaged and the delivery option will be contactless.
  • Distribution of food and eating will only be permitted outdoors. We will be setting up designated areas/PODs where attendees.
  • Masks may be lowered only when eating or drinking.
  • Those who are eating will need to maintain six-foot social distancing. They will not need to socially distance themselves from those who are in their same household.
  • In order to socially distance, everyone will need to spread out on campus.

Alcohol

NO ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED AT THE CAMPUS (INCLUDING PARKING). VIOLATING THIS WILL BE RESULTING IN EVICTION FROM THE EVENT AND A POTENTIAL BAN FROM THE MEMBERSHIP. 

Smoking 

Smoking is only permitted at the designated areas in the parking.

Child Safety

Members need to ensure that children are always accompanied by the adults even at the time while they are playing on the lawn or in, courtyard. Bay Area Prabasi will be following the protocols as agreed upon with the Chabot Administration. The escalations may cause the potential closure of certain parts of the facility. Children above 2 are also required to wear masks at all times. 

Parking

  • Parking pass needed on Sat, Oct 9. Attendees can purchase the parking passes from the Parking kiosk (Cash, Credit Cards are allowed). The rate for the whole day is $3/Vehicle.
  • The passes need to be visible in the dash of the vehicle at all the time when the vehicle is parked
  • Failure to display the pass in the vehicle will result in towing by the campus security. Bay Area Prabasi will NOT be responsible for such towing and costs incurred by the attendees.
  • There is NO parking pass required on Sun, Oct 10th
