Durga Puja 2021 (Oct 9-10) at Chabot – COVID-19 Safety, Facility Guidelines and Ticketing

First, we continue to meet or exceed all requirements related to COVID-19 mitigation and management. We have updated information on our COVID page, please review these details carefully here.
Few key highlights:

Vaccinations

We will be requiring all adult attendees and facility staff members to be vaccinated to gain entry to the event.
The following will be conducted at the point of entry:

• Temperature Check
• Vaccine Record
• Valid Photo ID

Mask Mandate and food distribution:

We will require all our attendees to keep their masks on while attending the Durga Puja and/or the concert at all times except while eating/drinking outdoors.

Bay Area Prabasi will distribute food to our members in a contactless and pre-packaged manner through outdoor pods and everyone except family members or social bubbles will need to maintain a 6ft social distance while eating outdoors. No external food vendors are allowed this time.
PPE supplies will be available onsite.

Facility Guidelines

**Due to the strong response in annual membership and the needed headcount restrictions to facilitate proper planning we may end up making the physical attendance member-ONLY (members and their guests). This is under discussion. Live streaming will be available through our social media channels for all our community members.

Last year, we were one of the few organizations which safely organized Durga Puja. It is our hope that this year will be less unpredictable and we will continue to celebrate Durga Puja and the concert together on October 9th and 10th.
