Kavita Krishnamurti – Live in Concert, Oct 9th
Bay Area Prabasi is thrilled to host Padmashree Kavita Krishnamurti and musicians in the Bay Area on Sat, October 9th in the Performing Arts Center- Chabot College auditorium.The versatile playback singer accompanied by a full ensemble will enthrall you with her Bollywood as well as Bengali hits as Kavita Krishnamurti celebrates over four decades of her glorious journey in the music world.Kavita ji will be accompanied by the musicians in full setup to make the performance stand out and memorable. This will be our first Bollywood concert in 2 yrs.
Bay Area Prabasi and the facility will be taking full care to make the event safe from the public health and safety point of view. The auditorium seating will be socially distanced in a very limited capacity. No food or drinks will be allowed inside the auditorium. CDC vaccination card will be enforced by Bay Area Prabasi and will be checked along with temperature upon arrival. Failure to produce vaccination record will result in denial of the entry. In such case no refund will be processed. The concert will be min 2 hrs without a break to ensure safety protocols. The estimated start time of the concert at 8:30 pm on Sat, Oct 9th and will end latest by 10:30 pm.

Food
There is no outside food or, drink allowed except for special cases (e.g. baby food, prescribed food/diet, etc.). Bay Area Prabasi is going to be serving lunch, dinner, and snacks to the members and their guests based on the details communicated to the members during signup. NO outside food vendor is permitted in the facility to sell the foods. If you are NOT a Bay Area Prabasi member or, guest of a member – if we highly recommend that you MUST plan your visit and prepare to explore local restaurants and food options close to the venue.
We are monitoring the COVID situation closely on a weekly basis. If the situation continues to deteriorate, we may end up making the event MEMBER-ONLY to restrict the number of attendees in the venue. Members’ health and safety are always our top priority. We will be communicating this further through our emails and social media posts so that.

Kavita Krishnamurti Ticketing Workflow
Keeping in mind the public health and safety, following the regulations from the state and county for COVID-19 indoor auditorium and performances, we are only allowing a limited capacity seating in the auditorium. We understand that this will be the first in-person Bollywood concert in the Bay Area in past 2 years and there are lot of demand for such in-person, full orchestra event. However, we need to be mindful of the current circumstances. We would also want to cater to our members as well as non-members looking forward seeing her.
